This beautiful center opened in 2008 as the Town’s first dedicated Senior Citizen Center. Located at the junction of Route 25A and Patchogue-Mt. Sinai Road (Rte. 83), it is the setting for a wide array of multi-generational activities such as: workshops, book discussion, card playing and Mah Jongg groups; classes for exercise, yoga, dancing, bridge, foreign language, and Introduction to the Internet. The center hosts the Town’s Nutrition Program, Adult Day Services, and 2 Senior Citizen clubs. Evenings, the center is the venue for a variety of events for Town residents.
Cost:
There is no charge to visit the Center and residents are welcome to drop in any time it is open. Many of the events and activities are free or have minimal fees.
