The new state-of-the-art facility includes Hubba Ledges, China Bank sections, Rainbow Rails, Grind Rails and more. The cost of the new park was paid for through a $250,000 grant from Suffolk County and $250,000 in capital funding by the Town, which was secured through the efforts of Councilman Dan Panico and the late Councilman Keith Romaine who was one of the driving forces behind the project and who found the location for this park. Suffolk County residents can get a membership card to use the park for free, while a non-resident's Day pass is $10 and a non-resident annual pass is $150. Membership passes are available at the Brookhaven Aquatic Center Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am - 12:30pm. Children 8-17 need proof of age/residency and a parent must show photo id and sign the registration form. All persons 18+ need picture id with proof of age/residency (no parent needed). No children under 8 are allowed.
