FARMINGVILLE, NY - Councilwoman Jane Bonner joined with Mount Sinai Boy Scout Troop 384 as the scouts cleaned-up Satterly's Landing Park in Mount Sinai on Saturday April 10th. The cleanup effort was held in conjunction with the celebration of Earth Day and as part of The Great Brookhaven Cleanup. About 4,500 resident volunteers signed-up to clean over 220 sites across Brookhaven; these thousands of residents were lending support to their communities and cleaning up litter throughout the town. Said Councilwoman Bonner, “I’m proud to participate in this worthwhile effort and proud of these young men and women, and their dedication to a cleaner natural environment.”
