Brookhaven Town Government cares about our environment, and works actively to manage a Shellfish program, as well as running educational programs at the Mount Sinai Nature Center. In addition, the Town reviews projects affecting the environment and other natural resources, preserves open space, and insures compliance with the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act. Our nature preserves are an excellent outing for you and your family.
